Heavyweights of the Malaysian indie music scene are turning up with a bang to celebrate their 10th Birthday Bash & as a part of Urbanscapes 2019, and you are all invited to join!

This event marks a decade of music with the fans, and our friends who stuck with us through thick and thin.

On the 23rd of November, the Bee will be transformed into a mini-festival ground showcasing the varied and awesome talent that the independent music scene has to offer.

Beyond the music, it's also a birthday celebration! Pin the tail on the donkey, ring toss, play twister as you relive your 10th birthday party but with the freedom that comes with adulthood

About the Organiser

Urbanscapes is one of the longest-running creative arts festival in Malaysia. Since its inception 17 years ago, the aim of Urbanscapes has always been to bring together Malaysian creative communities from the fields of music, the arts, design, film and other creative disciplines. The festival has grown leaps and bounds to become internationally known and attended.

Not to be mistaken for members of Greenpeace, Kyoto Protocol are a five- piece outfit based in Malaysia who kick-started a renaissance in the Malaysian music scene. Since their humble beginnings playing covers in local bars, the band got their first big break when they opened forAmerican rock band MGMT in their maiden concert on Malaysian soil,subsequently clinching spots at various music festivals in the Asian region, enjoyed relatively frequent radio play, and even picked up an odd award or two along the way.
